Introduction

This is the operating specification for the Teicor financial system.

It defines the rules the system runs on — not a handbook someone follows, but the specification that governs how economic events translate into accounting, how accounting translates into controls, and how controls translate into reporting.

It is built around a single hierarchy:

Reporting

Each layer depends on the one above it. You cannot build a reliable flow without a model. You cannot reconcile without controls. You cannot report without both.
